to the moon and the sea. (3)

all purpose washed in, put
in motion, reclaimed
by force and water, by current and conviction, now sits, virgin, against the sides i have undertaken, and i am
purposeless, unmentioned, reset.
my course unreasoned, i am relentless, do not
give heed to the worries i have manufactured, know the frankness of the sea, know its turning, know myself, the way that i have lifted, seamlessly, the edges of the water, that i have graced them with revelation, my wide eye open, my light refracting

effortlessly.

i am the work of balance, i sink
great men, little leaders
all together in the water, and i have learned many things
about leaving and returning, whole-heartedly.
