how can disappointment be hidden from the thngs we once believed in? i feel that i've been putting my faith
in all of the wrong places

only to have it retaliate

i try my damndest to understand women
who think they need men to define them

but come up short

i keep trying to bridge the gaps i'm making
but i'm burning while i'm building,
and there's only so much room to walk these days

i thrive on inconsistencies
and changes always change me, i'm fluid as the sea that sinks
